We strive to exemplify George Bernard Shaw’s words, “You see things; and you say, ‘Why?’ But I dream things that never were; and I say, ‘Why not?’”. Imagination is one of the characteristics we value most in our team. We believe that making a mistake will only result in learning. So, go on, dare to dream big. Karan worked for many years in advertising (search marketing, display ads, Yahoo-Bing merger) at Yahoo, before giving it all up to start The Orange App. A wannabe philosopher, he sees entrepreneurship as a means for bringing about social change.

When not working, Karan loves beach bumming, sleeping, eating and, quite paradoxically, adventure sports. Religious about cricket and an avid quizzer, Sakhil is also deeply concerned about socio-political issues. He loves running marathons, traveling and is an aspiring writer. In 2011, Sakhil was the youngest participant to win the SAP global innovation challenge in 40 years. Passionate about startups, Sakhil believes that to be a true entrepreneur, you have to live and breathe the philosophy "Why are you trying to fit in when you are born to stand out". A fledgling yoga teacher and ardent Scrabble player, Sahiba loves dogs, horse-riding, dancing, water sports and tattoos. She studied at UCL and the Annenberg School, USC (go Trojans!) before starting her own eBay and Etsy stores. A little known fact - Sahiba used to be a weather presenter on India's national TV channel. An international traveller, Lab - Pit Bull mix Lola started her journey from the EOE Rescue in Tracey, California and now resides in New Delhi, India. She loves dressing up, being center of attention and bullying the assistant mascot. Her favorite word in technical discussions is "cookie". A non-discriminating foodie, Zaara the lab relishes everything from carrots to burgers. She is an independent thinker and a free spirit (read highly disobedient). Her favorite activities include getting into mischief, retrieving balls and chasing her own tail.
